Get in losers, we’re watching the “Not My Fault” music video!
Reneé Rapp, a.k.a. Gen Z’s Regina George, is kicking off Mean Girls Month with the release of her new music video for the song “Not My Fault” with Megan Thee Stallion
The video sets up the unbeatable sexiness and bitchiness of Rapp’s new version of the iconic character. “It’s not my fault you came with her, but she might leave with me/It’s not my fault you gotta pay for what I get for free,” she sings.
Of course these two queen bees wear amazing pink outfits throughout the video, and when Megan shows up to do her verse, she’s rocking a white tank top with cut out boobs, just like the original Regina George wore in the movie.
The two of them also swing pink baseball bats, crawl on cafeteria tables, and sit at a makeup table. In one segment, Rapp is lying on a tattoo table getting tattoos all over her body, including a truly iconic “Regina George” tramp stamp!
Of course, the video starring two queer women at the top of their game is shaking up sapphics and lesbians all over the internet. Watch the video here and continue scrolling to see how the queer girls of Twitter are reacting. The new musical version of Mean Girls releases in theaters January 12.
