Talk about Orville "Pecs," right!??
Masked country singer Orville Peck is teasing a new video for his duet with Noah Cyrus "How Far Will We Take It?" And rom the looks a recent teaser, it looks like he'll be shirtless in it!
In a new short video clip Peck has shared on YouTube, he can be seen singing the song on camera while being filmed. All we can see that he's wearing are his iconic cowboy hat and mask and a necklace — and not much else. Now this is country!!!
"I tried to love you, just couldn't break through. No getting used to living without you," Peck and Cyrus sing in the clip. "Cause I've been waiting, don't want to waste it. We're all alone now, how far will we take it?"
The two have dueted before when Peck performed at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in late 2022. During that performance, Cyrus came out on stage to sing Peck's song "Let Me Drown," which when performed as a duet, has really strong "Shallow" vibes.
Now, the two are collabing again for Peck's new album of duets, Stampede: Vol. 1.
Stampede's first single was a cover of the classic 1981 gay cowboy anthem "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other" by Ned Sublette. For the duet, Peck teamed up with country legend Willie Nelson, who had previously recorded his own version of the song in 2006.
Other songs on the album included the Elton John cover "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)," which features John himself, as well as songwriter Bernie Taupin, as well as duets with Bu Cuaron, country band Midland, Nathaniel Rateliff, and queer Americana Grammy winner Allison Russell.
Stampede: Vol. 1 comes out this Friday, May 10.
