It wouldn't be the holidays without new music from the Grammy-winning vocal group!

Pentatonix is defrosting as we speak.

The iconic a cappella group has blessed fans with holiday music for years, going all the way back to their first Christmas album coming out in 2014.

The quintet has just dropped their seventh holiday album (eighth if you include their first compilation album from 2019) and they've made the yuletide gay once again.

Composed of Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee, Kevin Olusola, and proud LGBTQ+ members Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi, the inclusive group is bringing some much-needed cheer to end the year on a high note.

"I'm just so proud of us that we have such a repertoire under our belt and especially at such a young age," Grassi says. "We are still young!"

The album is titled The Greatest Christmas Hits and includes 23 of the band's top holiday songs along with eight brand new tracks, including an original new one.

"We took all the classics, all the super big ones, and we were just planning on adding a couple more songs and then we ended up adding eight! That's very Pentatonix fashion. It really is the greatest hits of everything we've done in the past couple of years," Maldonado shares.

"There's so much good music. There's so many fun songs to add on to the beautiful list of classics that we have. It's going to be a really good album," Sallee adds.

Fans can expect many of Pentatonix's iconic holiday collaborations with Kelly Clarkson, Tori Kelly, Jennifer Hudson, Meghan Trainor, and many more to pop up as they listen to the new record.

Beyond the hits, fans are also in for a treat as the group was able to record a special duet with the late Elvis Presley on "O Little Town Of Bethlehem."

"I can't believe! It is a dream come true to be able to do this kind of collaboration. We still get to add what we do and elevate his voice. I'm so excited for fans to hear this one," Olusola says.

To really celebrate the spirit of the holidays, the a cappella group is hitting the road with Pentatonix: The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year, which has become a tradition for the group every season.

"I love that Christmas happens every year! There's so much love and so much joy that comes with Christmas and we get a lot of it. Every single show feels like Christmas because it's a celebration and tradition for families," Hoying says.

"The Christmas tour is always my favorite leg of tour. Everybody just wants a little bit of festivity and maybe some escapism from the world, let's be honest. I'm really looking forward to it. We always make the show bigger and brander every single year, so I'm really excited to see what we do and how the fans react," Grassi concludes.
