Just ahead of performing her surprise hit song of the summer "Good Luck, Babe!" at Wednesday night's MTV Video Music Awards, pop star Chappell Roan was introduced by the one and only Sasha Colby!
The winner of the 15th season of RuPaul's Drag Race looked stunning in black as she sashayed onto the MTV stage.
"Pop music is inclusive," Colby began. "No matter what you look like, who you love, it's meant for everyone. And no one has revitalized that spirit more than this next artist. You have all watched her blow up, the midwest princess is in the house! Your favorite drag queen's favorite artist, here is my daughter, Chappell Roan!"
When Colby first appeared on Drag Race, she knew her undeniable star power and referred to herself as "Your favorite drag queen's favorite drag queen." Roan is a huge fan of drag and a supporter of the performers, previously calling herself "your favorite artist's favorite artist" in homage to Colby.
And now, Colby has adopted Roan as one of her own. Legends supporting legends!
