Troye Sivan Drops 'Rush' Music Video & Spicy New Album Cover
Are you ready to feel the ‘Rush’ with Troye?
Troye Sivan has officially entered his horny era with the brand-new song “Rush,” which serves as the lead single to his upcoming album Something to Give Each Other.
In the video, Sivan drinks, smokes, parties, dances, makes out with boys, and rages on. There’s even a shot of the singer singing through a glory hole, proving that Sivan isn’t holding anything back in this new era.
Overall, the “Rush” video is a sexy celebration of queer party culture. It was directed by Gordon von Steiner, with choreography by Sergio Reis. Meanwhile, the song references certain “party favors” within gay culture like poppers, illicit substances, and sexual stimulants.
Sivan also officially announced his third studio album, Something to Give Each Other, with a release date set for Friday, October 13. This new album will follow 2015’s Blue Neighbourhood and 2018’s Bloom.
Sivan described the upcoming album as “something to give you – a kiss on a dancefloor, a date turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer. Party after party, after party after party. Heartbreak, freedom. Community, sisterhood, friendship. All that.”
Though we now have “Rush” as the lead single from Something to Give Each Other, further details about the album are still being kept under wraps.
Troye Sivan’s new album Something to Give Each Other drops October 13 on all music streaming platforms.
