Over the past weekend (August 5-6), the Los Angeles edition of 88rising's Head in the Clouds music festival took over the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and turned up the heat, celebrating the best of the best when it comes to Asian American and Asian artists.
While there were plenty of musical acts for people of all different tastes to indulge in all weekend, one of the performers that united the crowd on Day 2 of the festival was none other than Korean-based Japanese pop group XG!
After already having graced the stage at the New York edition of Head in the Clouds earlier this year, the girlies — which consists of members Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Cocona, Maya, and Harvey — took to their talents to Southern California and performed their bops, including fan-favorite tracks like "Left Right" and "Shooting Star," and their newest singles "GRL GVNG" and "TGIF." With their debut mini-album entitled NEW DNA on the way very soon (September 27 is the anticipated release date), we're surely going to be hearing a lot more from XG in the future!
