You can feel the love through the screen!
Now on their third season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Kenny Niedermeier and Armando Niedermeier-Rubio are continuing to show their love story in Mexico.
Since their first episode, the husbands have brought LGBTQ+ representation to mainstream media and helped change many people's perceptions of what queer love can look like.
"We've had all kinds of people that have messaged us [and said] they never believed they could accept their son [or] daughter. After seeing our relationship, they've realized we're just normal people. It's really made us proud to be on the show, because I think we've made a difference in a lot of people," Niedermeier tells Out.
Not only has the couple made a positive change, but they've even saved lives by being vulnerable on television.
"I had this kid who was like 17 [or] 18, who was thinking about suicide. [He] saw our story and realized he can have a life out there. [We're] showing young people that they're not the only ones out there," Niedermeier says.
Especially during Pride Month, Kenny and Armando proudly team up with TLC to showcase their love to celebrate how far they've come, but to also show the world that same-sex relationships are beautiful.
"You can live a fantastic, fabulous life. If your family won't accept you, there's other people that will be your family. You can have a chosen family. That's why representation and gay Pride is very important," Niedermeier concludes.
