Kandy Muse rightfully called herself a “polarizing” figure in the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise. A lot of fans understand, love, and support Muse, whereas others just can’t seem to ever root for her.
Nonetheless, Muse made it to the top four on Drag Race season 13 and then lip synced her way to finish as the runner-up of that season. She then came back to compete on All Stars 8 and once again found herself in the top two of the competition alongside Jimbo.
A few days after the top two of All Stars 8 was officially announced on TV, Muse took to social media to share a message with the Drag Race fans. Muse tweeted:
“I can’t process being the only other queen besides Raven to make final two twice in the entire Drag Race franchise. I remember being 13 years old watching season one being so confused on what a drag queen even was, and now here we are. We did it kids, we f*cking did it! Love you all.”
Indeed, Raven made it to the top two of Drag Race season two and All Stars 1, and Muse is now the second-ever queen to accomplish that feat. Queens like Chad Michaels, Trinity The Tuck, and Jink Monsoon – who lip synced for the crown more than once – technically had a top three or top four in their original seasons.
In response to Muse’s tweet, Drag Race season 10 winner Aquaria reacted with a hilarious message referencing the fact that Raven finished as a runner-up in both seasons she competed in. Aquaria wrote:
“And just like Raven…”
Muse responded, “You know what b*tch lmfao.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 airs Fridays on Paramount+.
