A brief moment in "Hotel Reverie" nods to one of the most beloved sapphic episodes of TV of all time.

Netflix's science fiction anthology series Black Mirror premiered its seventh season on Friday, and one very queer episode features an Easter egg to the iconic sapphic season 3 episode "San Junipero."

Issa Rae and Emma Corrin star in "Hotel Reverie," where a modern-day movie star is dropped into an AI recreation of an old Hollywood film via a new company called Redream. Rae plays the modern movie star, Brandy, who's set on reinvigorating her career by playing a traditionally white male character opposite the oh-so-tragic femme fatale Clara (Corrin), but when the film recreation goes haywire and the AI character of Clara begins remembering that she was an actor named Dorothy in the real world, the two women develop an intimate bond that transcends labels or the physical realm.

We won't spoil too much about the plot, but the episode is tragically queer and is already getting comparisons to Black Mirror's groundbreaking season 3 episode 'San Junipero" starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis.

But eagle-eyed viewers caught a direct reference to "San Junipero" with a sly Easter egg.

At the end of the episode, Rae is mailed a package from Redream. In that shot, we can see her physical address, which is "3049 Junipero Drive, Beverly Hills, 90211."

Rae reflected on the episode's queer themes in a recent interview with Out.

"There's this beautiful element in my character's decision to remake this movie. Dorothy gets a chance to be who she is, even though she is this fictional character, she ultimately becomes who she's meant to be," Rae explained. "The tragedy that can only exist in one version of this glitchy film. But I just thought it was so beautiful because this love transcended time and all realms, and the tragic part is that it just couldn't really exist in reality."

Black Mirror season 7 is streaming on Netflix.
