We’ve reached the top eight of the season, and competition is fiercer than ever!
In a new sneak peek for episode 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15, the top eight queens re-enter the werk room following Spice’s elimination. Salina EsTitties is glad to have survived another lip sync for your life, whereas Sasha Colby is proud of becoming the first contestant to win two maxi challenges this season.
One not-so-cheery queen in the werk room is Loosey LaDuca, who claims to have won three challenges thus far. She is, of course, counting the mini challenge wins in episodes one and five, as well as her maxi challenge win in the Snatch Game. Mistress Isabelle Brooks can’t help but laugh at LaDuca seemingly pretending to agree with the judges and being at peace that she hasn’t won more maxi challenges, and Brooks’ laughter bothers LaDuca to no end. The edit shows other queens understanding (and agreeing with) what Brooks is giggling about, but LaDuca is pissed. Boots.
“Loosey is much more competitive than she alludes to,” Brooks says in a confessional.
LaDuca shoots back, “Mistress is projecting onto me. Because, mama, if anyone is a b*tch, Mistress is thee b*tch.”
LaDuca then argues that all of the other queens are allowed to feel upset at their placements, except her, which she finds unfair. It’s incredibly clear that Brooks is mostly just kidding throughout these interactions, but it is driving LaDuca to Loosey her mind, officially!
The queens come back into the werk room the next day with a brand-new attitude. For instance, Anetra is determined to smile more after being called out by Michelle Visage for having a “resting b*tch face.” RuPaul then comes in to announce this week’s maxi challenge: a good old-fashioned interview challenge, which is pretty relevant for drag queens these days given how many of them host podcasts and YouTube talk shows.
Marcia Marcia Marcia and Sasha Colby are tasked to interview Spanish-American superstar Charo. Anetra, Loosey LaDuca, and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx are assigned to interview reality TV star Frankie Grande. Last but certainly not least, Luxx Noir London, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, and Salina EsTitties are challenged to interview drag comedian Love Connie.
The entire gay world is then shaken to its core when Mama Ru announces this week’s runway category: Night of a Thousand Beyoncés. Start ringing that alarm, sis!
RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 airs Fridays on MTV.
