After becoming the first-ever Black trans woman to model for Victoria's Secret, Emira D'Spain is at it again. The social media influencer, otherwise known as @XOXOEMIRA on platforms like TikTok, has joined Bravo's new show, Next Gen NYC, and made history as the first trans person to join the network as a full-time cast member.

Born in the United Arab Emirates, D'Spain is 28 years old and graduated from New York University with a degree in Marketing and Communications.

With the official cast announcement for Next Gen NYC, D'Spain shared her promo shot for the new Bravo series and wrote on Instagram:

"Time to be messy… [eyes emoji]."

The overall concept behind Next Gen NYC is to feature various children who appeared on The Real Housewives franchise as kids (and have grown up). However, that isn't the only casting criteria for the series. D'Spain, for instance, isn't the daughter of any Housewives star.

"Emira has hustle in her DNA," Bravo's press release for Next Gen NYC reads. "Born in Dubai and raised in Dallas, she turned her NYU degree and a killer internship into a coveted role as Paper magazine's beauty director. Now, she's thriving as one of New York's most successful content creators."

The bio continues, "Ambitious, driven, and always two steps ahead, Emira lives life on her own terms and never apologizes for her success. She usually stays above the fray when drama unfolds, but this summer, balancing romance and friendship loyalties might disrupt her perfectly planned hustle."

Next Gen NYC premieres Tuesday, June 3, on Bravo.
