Fans were shaken to their core following the fifth episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8, which had the queens competing in the Snatch Game. Despite being one of the most beloved queens in the Drag Race franchise and doing a pretty good job on All Stars, Heidi N Closet chose to quit the competition on her own terms.
It all started when Kahanna Montrese complained about N Closet seemingly making the Snatch Game even harder for her, which was clearly not the season 12 alum’s intention. Right after this situation was hashed out between them, N Closet was caught up in another drama about Kandy Muse allegedly saying that she was gunning to eliminate Jimbo from the competition. N Closet confirmed that she did hear this from Muse, and even asked Alexis Michelle to back her up. Alas, Michelle didn’t fully confirm that this was said, making N Closet feel even more isolated.
After this episode of All Stars 8 was released, N Closet wrote on Twitter:
“Please don’t send no hate. Instead of sending negativity choose to spread love and peace. There’s plenty of ways to show and support! A sweet message, buying a sexy toy, subscribe to Patreon, or even tip a hoe (cough Venmo HeidiNCloset cough). Sending love to all, thank you.”
“So through out the last 9 months I dealt with sadness, depression, and anger and through that I did make a diss track but THANK U to my amazing partner and group of friends that helped me through that and reminded me about peace and love. Over the weekend, N Closet shared further insight about her mental health in the last nine months since filming All Stars 8. She wrote:

Certain people had something to say about N Closet’s decision to quit All Stars 8, with one fan going as far as claiming that the queen is now “banned from Drag Race.” N Closet responded:
“So what you’re saying is they wouldn’t ban Adore or Ben but they would ban me… Ok.”
“@BeccaWCWfan Mostly mental health and I saw how messy the girls were being. I had stopped caring about winning at this point”— Heidi N Closet (@Heidi N Closet) 1685884723
A fan asked N Closet if the main reason for her quitting All Stars 8 was related to Muse allegedly lying about she said regarding Jimbo. The season 12 alum replied:
“Mostly mental health and I saw how messy the girls were being. I had stopped caring about winning at this point.”
“@slaykimpetras Def had a time where things were not well but we are adults”— Heidi N Closet (@Heidi N Closet) 1685920290
Another fan asked if N Closet and Muse are still friends nowadays. The Miss Congeniality winner wrote:
“[Definitely] had a time where things were not well but we are adults.”
