We know her mostly on stage in Tony-winning Broadway roles, but living legend Bernadette Peters has made her way to the deserts of California for Apple TV+'s newest comedy series High Desert.
Starring a cast of beloved names like Patricia Arquette, Weruche Opia, Matt Dillon, Rupert Friend, Christine Taylor, and more, the series follows Peggy (Patricia Arquette), "an on-again-off-again addict who decides to make a new start after the death of her beloved mother (Peters), with whom she lived in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California, and makes a life-changing decision to become a private investigator," according to the official description,
