Meet the 11 hot singles looking for love on BBC's 'I Kissed a Girl'

We're SO READY for this summer of love!

Following the success of I Kissed a Boy and its renewal for a second season, host Dannii Minogue is coming back to BBC Three to host a brand-new spinoff about girls who like girls!

I Kissed a Girl is expected to follow a similar format to I Kissed a Boy — delivering all the drama, twists, connections, and shenanigans that only a high-quality LGBTQ+ dating series is able to deliver. Given that the queer community is still mostly turned away from conventional dating shows like The Bachelor franchise and the original, U.K. version of Love Island, it's exciting that we're building our own shows to feature love stories (and show some of the drama, too!) that exist in our community.

Age: 25

From: Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

Occupation: Aesthetician/Lash Tech

Meet Cara, an Aesthetician from northern Ireland. Her friends describe her as the life of the party, she identifies as bisexual and has relationships with both men and women. Cara has been vocal about her struggles in dating, in the past she has felt men have treated her as an object whereas some queer women see her as "not gay enough". With the hope of finding love, Cara is ready to let her guard down for the experience of a lifetime.

Fiorenza

Age: 22

From: Glasgow

Occupation: Drummer for Uninvited

Our next cast member is Fiorenza, a hot drummer for the band Uninvited from Glasgow. Ready to find love and represent the community. Fiorenza also expressed what her type is - a black cat of sorts. An assertive woman, that may not be the easiest to win over. It is clear Fiorenza is ready for a challenge.

When asked about the show Fiorenza added "We need more representation for lesbian relationships and what the dating life of a lezza entails as it's such a unique and special thing that should be shown everywhere."

Lisha

Age: 22

From: Caernarfon, Wales.

Occupation: Psychology Undergraduate

Meet Lisha, a Psychology undergraduate from Caernarfon, Wales ready to break out of the norms. Lisha is determined to find a partner that does not box her in, letting her explore both masc and feminine sides of herself. Lisha added "The show is a step forward for the LGBTQ+ community and will hopefully help others have the courage to come out and be true to themselves".

Amy

Age: 24

From: Surrey, living in London

Occupation: Social Media Manager

Welcome Amy, the social media manager. Amy is ready for love, a hopeless romantic with a 3 year single streak. Eager to end the streak and find love, she describes herself as a hopeless romantic. Amy is ready to find her happily ever after, but that won't stop her from entertaining us. Amy added, "From me, you can expect boots, boobs, and a boatload of banter."

Abbie

Age: 24

From: Brighton

Occupation: Make Up Artist & Hair Stylist

Meet Abbie, the resident Makeup, hair stylist and salon owner. Abbie hasnt had the best luck with dating, noting that her appearance people don't realize she's a lesbian. She applied to the show to find a partner who is ready to treat her like a princess. When Abbie was asked what her favorite part about the show was, she responded " What I loved most about the show was how comfortable I instantly felt around all the girls, in a judgment free environment, allowing myself to be vulnerable in conversations around sexuality."

Meg

Age: 24

From: Goole, West Yorkshire

Occupation: Fire Breather

This cast member is on fire… literally, because Meg is a fire breather! Meet Meg from Goole, West Yorkshire. She describes herself as a homebody and somewhat of a motherly figure to her group of friends. Meg is known for her adventurous style choices and collection of tattoos. Although labels are not her gig, she says she's a bisexual with a preference towards women.

When asked about the show, Meg said "I loved the opportunity to meet so many beautiful queer girlies and being able to explore my type. I will definitely be bringing some heat to show… in many ways."

Naee

Age: 25

From: London

Occupation: Engineer

Naee is an engineer from London. Iconic London attractions won't be the only thing Naee will be maintaining, as she embarks on the journey of finding love. She describes herself as a masculine woman and says she only dates fems. Naee wants to be in the drivers seat in her relationship, when asked what we can expect from the show Naee said "Viewers can expect their heads to be glued to the TV honestly, It is THAT good."

Priya

Age: 23

From: Newport, South Wales

Occupation: Hotel Customer Service

With a nickname like 'Priyonce' this lady is SURE to be a diva. Meet Priya, a proud south asian woman in hotel hospitality from South Wales. She has described herself as being full of energy, while being known for saying exactly what's on her mind. Priya says that although she has a bad admit of falling for women hard and fast, she's ready to take things slow and find love the right way.

While talking about the show Priya mentioned being mixed-race and queer in South Wales isn't exactly easy. She added "Being a Punjabi woman, I am so proud to represent my heritage and the south asian community. This show embodies love, diversity and being unapologetically queer."

Georgia

Age: 28

From: Hunmanby, North Yorkshire

Occupation: Professional Footballer

Meet Georgia, a professional footballer from North Yorkshire. Georgia has continuously fought stereotypes put upon her, with her background in women's football she has been boxed into the player role in the dating world as well. She admitted that this couldn't be farther from the truth, as she hasn't been on a real date in over a year.

While discussing her time on the show, Georgia added "It's amazing that there's finally a show like this out there. It's incredible representation and I'm just so glad I got to be apart of it."

Demi

Age: 23

From: Hemel Hempstead

Occupation: Publishing Executive

According to Demi, she still considers herself a "baby gay" when it comes to her journey with sexuality. Specifically, she's had experiences with girls in the past but has never officially dated one. We're rooting for you to find that first girlfriend on I Kissed a Girl, Demi!

Eva

Age: 22

From: Belfast

Occupation: Fashion Graduate

Last but not least, introducing Eva the fashion graduate from Belfast. Eva joins the cast a bit late however she is ready to make up for time lost with all her energy and humor. She describes herself as a natural flirt but blames that on being a Gemini, she just cant help it. Eva has had previous relationships but isn't fully sold on whether or not she's truly been IN love.

Eva also added "I used to search and search the internet for any WLW when coming to terms with my sexuality, so something like this is amazing."

I Kissed A Girl premieres on BBC on May 5th. With the first two episodes dropping immediately, we can't wait to immerse ourselves in all of it. Hot fleeting romances, true love and the drama that will ensue.
