We’re 10 episodes into RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15, and Marcia Marcia Marcia has yet to win a maxi challenge or land in the bottom two to lip sync for her life. And just like that, Marcia has broken a record for consecutive “safe” placements on the show.
Previously, a few queens were tied with nine consecutive “safe” placements during their respective seasons of Drag Race. However, Marcia has just broken that record by being deemed “safe” for 10 episodes. No maxi wins and no bottom twos – just safe 10 times. While it’s great that Marcia hasn’t yet been at-risk of being sent home, it must’ve also been frustrating for her to go on for this long without winning a maxi challenge, either.
As we reflect on Marcia’s new Drag Race record, it’s time to look back at the group of queens who were considered “safe” by the judges for nine consecutive episodes.
Scroll through to see which queens are tied for nine consecutive “safe” placements on RuPaul’s Drag Race and are now behind Marcia Marcia Marcia’s latest record.

Miz Cracker placed “safe” for the first nine episodes of season 10. She went on to win a maxi challenge in episode 10 and was eliminated in episode 11.

Crystal Methyd was featured in the first episode of the split premiere of season 12, which means that she didn’t compete in episode two. Nonetheless, she was deemed “safe” for nine consecutive episodes that season, going on to win a maxi challenge in episode 11 and lip sync for her life in episode 12. She survived that lip sync against Jackie Cox and became a finalist alongside Jaida Essence Hall and Gigi Goode.

Like Methyd, Tina Burner only competed in nine of the first 10 episodes of season 13, as the contestants were divided into two groups due to the “Pork Chop Loading Dock” twist. With that said, Burner was “safe” during her nine first competitive episodes in the season. She then landed in the bottom two in episode 11 and was eliminated.

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx was also “safe” for nine consecutive episodes throughout season 15. She then placed in the bottom two for the very first time in episode 10 and lost the lip sync to Salina EsTititties, culminating in Foxx’s elimination.
