Hulu is taking us back to the golden years of sitcoms with Mid-Century Modern, a brand-new (and very gay!) sitcom starring Matt Bomer as Jerry, Nathan Lane as Bunny, and Nathan Lee Graham as Arthur. Playing the role of Bunny's mother, Sybil, is the late, great Linda Lavin.

Mid-Century Modern is centered on a trio of BFFs who are deemed "gay gentlemen of a certain age." After losing of a dear friend — the fourth member of their troupe — the three characters decide to spend their "golden years" together, living under the same house, in Palm Springs.

In the show, Jerry (Bomer) is a lovable hottie who grew up religious and even got married to a woman. It didn't take long, however, for the wife to inform the Mormon Church — and Jerry himself! — that he was a certified gay man. Jerry has definitely been to the YMCA… and though he might not know how to spell it, fans will immediately fall in love with this sweet, kindhearted himbo brought to life by the Fellow Travelers star.

The class, the poise, and the elegance of Arthur (Graham) are unmatched. Having worked for the biggest fashion publication in the world, Arthur longs for the life he could be living if he still had that job. Nonetheless, Arthur always carries himself with elegance and is clearly very intelligent, but don't get it twisted: This straight-shooter tells it like it is. No one is safe… from laughing too hard at the zingers delivered by the breakout star of the Zoolander movies.

Bunny (Lane) is a businessman who found plenty of success, money, and status in his career. But while the "all work and no play" spinning wheel allowed Bunny to own a home with many rooms for his friends to just move into, his heart remains vacant. As he reaches his golden years, this hopeless romantic is determined to find the love story he has wanted all along. From The Birdcage to The Producers to The Lion King, Lane is a comedic genius who delivers another home run as Bunny in the series.

The brutally honest and hilariously shady Sybil (Lavin) is Bunny's mother. Since she lives with her son, Arthur and Jerry also become her roommates as they decide to move in. Sybil is at least 10 steps ahead of the three men at any given moment, which can feel sort of smothering at times. But make no mistake: this blood relative is an integral part of this chosen family.
