The time has come for RuPaul to assemble a powerful new cast of queens who are ready to compete and save the world on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 9.
According to a release, the queens of All Stars 9 will be "competing to win a supersized donation of $200,000, provided by The Palette Fund, for a charity of their choosing." In other words, "this season marks the first time in franchise herstory where the queens are competing for charity and harnessing their drag skills to win money for a variety of organizations."
It appears that the queens will not be getting earning money for themselves, only for the charities they've chosen. Mama Ru has chosen this group of queens for a very special season of giving back at a time when the LGBTQ+ community is constantly under attack.
Starting with two all-new episodes on Friday, May, 17, All Stars 9 will feature eight drag superstars coming back into the Drag Race werk room and vying for a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 9 premieres Friday, May 17 on Paramount+.
