Editor's note: this article contains SPOILERS for the season 16 finale of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Top 3 finalists Plane Jane, Nymphia Wind, and Sapphira Cristál were filmed watching the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race season 16 together and reacting to the episode. We get videos like these for every season — and this year's live finale reactions are just as fierce!
Plane, Nymphia, and Sapphira watch all the season 16 queens walk the finale runway, and then react to themselves feeling the full fantasy of their solo numbers. A particularly hilarious moment happens when Amanda Tori Meating's unimpressed face is shown after Plane's performance. When Ru announces that the top 2 finalists are Sapphira And Nymphia, Plane pretends to throw a tantrum in the live-reaction video as if she didn't already know that from when it was filmed.
As they watch the lip sync for the crown, Nymphia and Sapphira are literally speechless, but Plane is snapping her fingers at how "sickening" the performances were. And speaking of which, Nymphia seems to be genuinely shocked and at a loss for words when Mama Ru announces that she's America's Next Drag Superstar. Plane kneels to hand Nymphia the crown and scepter, while Sapphira holds her hand and congratulates her.
"What just happened?" Nymphia asks. Sapphira and Plane respond, "You just won! You just won RuPaul's Drag Race!" Nymphia gets emotional and shouts out Taiwan a few times, declaring that she dedicates this victory to her home country. Looking into the future, Nymphia says that her platform as America's Next Drag Superstar is to "make the world more yellow and banana."
The live reaction video ends with Nymphia walking out onto a stage after being declared the winner of season 16.
Other standout reactions include Plane seeing Amanda on-screen and joking that she's her "arch-nemesis." Sapphira reacts to Xunami Muse's finale look saying, "This is the fashion. The beauty, the face!" All three of them also SCREAM for Morphine Love Dion walking the finale runway. "Just… woman," Plane says. "This is stunning," Sapphira adds.
During their solo numbers, Nymphia gets excited to see her mother appear on-screen. Plane jokingly complains that the dancers could've lifted her a little bit higher. Sapphira is also shown living her best life while watching her finale performance.
And just like that, another lap of RuPaul's Drag Race ends with Nymphia Wind as our current reigning. Condragulations to the winner… and remember to always "vote yellow!"
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 9 premieres Friday, May 17 on Paramount+.
