Two big openings, here we go.
This Thursday, Dec. 28, Out is keeping the holiday spirit going by sharing an exclusive first preview of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 with the fans!
Just like other recent seasons, this cast has been divided into two premieres. The first episode includes Amanda Tori Meating, Dawn, Mirage, Morphine Love Dion, Q, Sapphira Cristál, and Xunami Muse.
In an exclusive sneak peek shared with Out, the seven first queens have already walked into the werk room and are starting to understand that the shenanigans and buffoonery are already in full motion. “Immediately when I hear the RuMail, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, split premiere,’” Q says.

Morphine adds, “If you know the history of Drag Race… if you have watched the show, Tamar… you know what’s happening right now.”
Mama Ru comes through the television. “Girl, I’m here to spill the tea,” she announces. “Stump like a Glamazon, set your p*ssy on fire… ‘cause queen, queer, butch, or femme, the House of Love will always win.”
Out-of-drag RuPaul then enters the werk room, and Q is the first to point out that his look is giving “train conductor.” Ru quips back, “Yes, we’re going to be pulling a train later.” And I oop!

After they all share a laugh, RuPaul gets to officially greet the new Drag Race stars.
“My queens, welcome to RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16,” he says. “From this moment on, you will forever be one of my girls. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to spread your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent around the mother-tucking world… but you’ve already done that, haven’t you?”
Ru continues, “Now, as the first seven queens to arrive, I must warn you. Several many twists, turns, tantrums, and tiaras lie ahead. But in the end, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race will receive a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics, plus a gag-worthy grand prize of $200,000!”

“Two hundred thousand dollars,” Sapphira reacts in a confessional. “Woo!”
RuPaul asks the queens, “Ladykins, are you ready for your close-up? For your first photoshoot, you need to sashay your way to my front porch, ring my bell, and pose the house down… literally!” A doorbell rings. “Oops, I’ve got to run,” Ru says, “I’m expecting a big package. Oh, Pit Crew!”
As RuPaul exits the werk room, the queens start freaking out with excitement. “B*tch, I’m gagged!” Dawn says. “I know it’s not just going to be a photoshoot. RuPaul has something up her sleeve for us.” Xunami says, “This is season 16. The competition has officially started. Let the games begin.”
