'RuPaul's Drag Race' season 17 crowns Miss Congeniality
The season 17 queens have voted for a new Miss Congeniality!
Editor's note: This article contains SPOILERS for the season 17 finale of RuPaul's Drag Race.
As the reigning Miss Congeniality winners from season 16, Sapphira Cristál and Xunami Muse walked into the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race season 17 to announce which queen would follow into their footsteps.
Between Xunami showing off her massive "LMAO" sign and Sapphira attempting to use her magical powers to cancel the title of Miss Congeniality… the show went on! As per usual, the crowned Miss Congeniality queen would receive a cash prize of $10,000.
Crystal Envy is crowned Miss Congeniality at the RuPaul's Drag Race season 17 finale.
MTV
The cast members of season 17 voted — and, among them, Crystal Envy was chosen as the new Miss Congeniality.
From Asbury Park, NJ, Crystal fell into the bottom two during the Snatch Game episode and had to lip sync against Lana Ja'Rae. Though that lip sync resulted in her early elimination, Crystal was nothing but kind and supportive all season long, on social media, and everywhere else.
Crystal Envy will sparkle brighter than ever as the newly-crowned Miss Congeniality. We love to see it!
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 premieres Friday, May 9 on Paramount+.
