Sam Smith is coming to And Just Like That… season two, and one must wonder if they’re “Not Here to Make Friends” with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Che Diaz.
Three of the OG Sex and the City gals came back for HBO Max’s And Just Like That… sequel series, which premiered in 2021. A second season is on the way, and it will feature none other than Grammy-winning popstar Sam Smith.
On Wednesday, February 22, Smith shared a gallery of pictures while on set. They tagged And Just Like That… in the post and wrote in the caption:
“Up to something unholy on set.”
The first season introduced a new character called Che Diaz, a Mexican, nonbinary, comedian played by Sara Ramirez. As it was, the character was often the target of memes (and some lighthearted criticism) from the LGBTQ+ community.
With Smith appearing in season two, one must wonder if they will be Che Diaz’s BFF, frenemy, or archrival. But the series surely can’t pass on the opportunity to bring these two together for nonbinary representation!
The And Just Like That… mommies don’t know daddy’s getting hot, but Sam Smith is coming to tell them.
And Just Like That… season one is streaming on HBO Max.
