Sasha Velour knows how to pull off a legendary reveal – after all, it's what won her the crown on season 9 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Often imitated but never duplicated, no one has quite executed a reveal as iconic as Velour's.

"A hit's a hit," she tells Out at the season 4 premiere of HBO's We're Here. "I'm proud that my little rose petal moment has had that legacy."

Velour stars in the reality series alongside Drag Race icons Latrice Royale, Priyanka, and Jaida Essence Hall. On the show, she has the opportunity to share her art with newly acquired drag daughters in small towns.

On the pink carpet, Velour went on to share the secret behind a great reveal. "I wish people would learn that the secret reveal is how you use it to tell a story," she explained. "[It's] the element of surprise and that it was not obvious what was going to happen. It's all about what you're doing with your face. That's how you distract them. So your hands can do surprising things."

Velour adds, "I love a big coat concealing a million things too, as much as the next girl."

So: no reveals for the sake of reveals? "That's right. Well, maybe one or two."

HBO's We're Here is streaming on Max.
