Miguel Ángel Silvestre knows what the people want: more Sense8
The stars of Sense8 feel exactly the same way about the cancellation of the show that we do!
Miguel Ángel Silvestre, who played gay Spanish actor Lito Rodriguez in the popular and beloved science fiction show about a group of global strangers who find their minds mysteriously linked, has commented on his thoughts about a possible continuation of the series.
"I love that and I think about that many times," he said when asked by Attitude magazine about the show potentially coming back or continuing. "Hopefully one day. We'll see. It would be so nice if we could gather all together again. If you think about it, when the Wachowski sisters were doing the TV show, they were talking about something that is happening right now. And to me, I feel that we were doing something very special for the audience. So hopefully. Sometimes I dream about that."
The Wachowski's groundbreaking sci-fi drama Sense8 sadly ended after just two seasons at Netflix, but the show's devoted fanbase has been calling for it to come back ever since. Now we know that the show's stars feel exactly the same way.
Silvestre made the comments at an event for Magnum ice cream and Troye Sivan, unveiling three new remixes of Sivan's song "Honey" featuring Mura Masa. The new remixes are each named after one of three new flavor moods – Euphoria, Wonder, and Chill – that make up Magnum's new Pleasure Express line of snacks.
The new line includes three flavors: Magnum Euphoria Pink Lemonade, Chill Blueberry Cookie, and Wonder Golden Toffee.
Sense8 is streaming on Netflix.
