HBO’s We’re Here is back — and we probably need this show now more than ever.
The fourth season of We’re Here has four new cohosts: RuPaul’s Drag Race superstars Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Jaida Essence Hall, and Latrice Royale. The official logline for season 4 notes that the series will continue to use drag to spread a message of love and positivity across small-town America.
Season 4 is set to take place in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as in surrounding towns. But given the political climate against the LGBTQ+ community, drag artists, and trans people in the last few years, the new We’re Here queens will also reflect on anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and explore how these laws are hurting our community.
“Right now in the world, people who are different are being extremely targeted,” Jaida says in the trailer. Latrice adds, “Our survival is at risk. We have to stand up.”

The trailer also includes quotes from Priyanka, who says, “Because of the drag bans, we have a bigger community to empower.” Sasha explains, “Bringing in more voices is essential. The We’re Here family just keeps growing.”

The first three seasons of We’re Here featured Bob the Drag Queen, Shangela, and Eureka as the main cohosts of the series. Earlier this year, season 3 of the show snatched an Emmy Award for Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming category. The recipients included costume designers Diego Montoya, Marco Morante, and Joshua “Domino” Schwartz, as well as assistant costume designers Blake Danford, Sharon Malka, and Ricky Reynoso.
Following the announcement that this HBO show would be back for a fourth season, other Drag Race alumni were announced as the new main cast of queens cohosting season 4. We stan Jaida, Latrice, Priyanka, and Sasha, so we can’t wait to see the perspectives they bring to this platform!
