Yellowjackets, one of the best LGBTQ+-inclusive series on TV, is back this February for a third season on Showtime (as well as Paramount+ With Showtime). Though these lost characters can now feel some relief about winter being gone, surviving the elements is far from being their only problem.

Yellowjackets season 3 returns with fan-favorite queer couple Taissa (Tawny Cypress) and Van (Lauren Ambrose).
The cast also includes actors like Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, and Sarah Desjardins, among others.

This third season of the Showtime series will also feature the return of Elijah Wood — best known for playing Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings trilogy of films — in a recurring role. Guest stars appearing during this new cycle of Yellowjackets also include none other than Hilary Swank and Joel McHale.
"Distrust in leadership and tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued," the Yellowjackets season 3 synopsis reads. "In the present, long-buried secrets from their pasts begin to surface."

Namely, Yellowjackets season 3 will bring to the surface long-standing questions about these characters — leading to paranoia, fights, and questions about who they are as human beings.
"Who are they, really?," the synopsis highlights. "And what dark truths are they hiding from each other and themselves?"
