Young Royals Stars Say Goodbye After Filming Final Season

Netflix’s Young Royals is coming to an end with its third season, and fans are already bracing themselves.

Also bracing themselves for this emotional landing is none other than Young Royals leading stars Edvin Ryding (Wilhelm) and Omar Rudberg (Simon). This week, the actors posted videos and tweets sharing their thoughts on the ending of Young Royals and hinting at what fans can expect from this third and final season.

Ryding and Rudberg thanked the fans for all their support throughout all of the seasons of Young Royals. “We’ve had such a great time,” Ryding noted. “One of my favorite moments from this season is shooting the final scene.

Rudberg suggested that his favorite moment while filming season three was “when we were shooting in the woods all night.” Alas, the actor stopped himself before revealing too much more, “It was fun… not going to spoil anything”.

The leading stars of Young Royals also shared different tweets about wrapping up filming the third season. Ryding wrote:

“That’s all. Feeling all kinds of emotions right now and have been for the last 24 hours. But just know this, the gratitude I feel is insane. I love you. We love you. Forever.”

Rudberg tweeted:

“Yesterday was a very emotional day for all of us. We’ve wrapped Young Royals forever. Can’t really take that in… But I’m so happy and proud. I can’t wait for you guys to see the ending of this story. This is THE season!”

Though we are sad that Young Royals is ending, at least the series is getting to tell a complete story and the involved parties are actively working on making this a special sendoff.
