Gillian Anderson

Gillian Anderson is an American-British film, television and theatre actress. She is most known for her role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in 'The X-Files' in all 10 seasons from 1993-2002 and in the 2016 reboot. She has won a Primetime Emmy, a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She is also an writer, producer, director and activist. Back in 2012, she first told Out that she had in a relationship with a girl for a long time when she was in high school. She is a known ally of the LGBT community, especially supportive of LGBT youth. She has worked with The Trevor Project. Gillian's sister Zoe is openly gay and married to her partner.
