He's bringing all sorts of much-needed representation!

Bradley Riches has officially joined the Celebrity Big Brother UK house, and we are already completely obsessed.

Riches is mostly known for his role as James McEwan in Netflix’s Heartstopper, though outside of the small screen he’s also made himself known as an activist for both being gay and autistic.

The 22-year-old made his appearance in the first episode of the reality series on Monday, March 4, and has confined himself to three weeks under the ever-watchful eye of Big Brother, which will record his every move and share it with the world.

In his intro video to the house, Riches talks about his autism diagnosis at nine years old, where he said, “Growing up, I felt like an alien, I didn’t know where I placed in the world.”

Despite the hardships, he now admits that he thinks “being different is very cool” and that “it’s taken me a long time to realize that, and I just want to inspire people and give people that positive representation.”

His time on Big Brother UK won’t be anywhere near boring, especially because he admits, “I love a party and I love a bit of Prosecco sometimes, so I think I’ll be up for a good amount of time.”

He’s also pretty confident heading in, saying, “I think me and Big Brother are going to hit it off straight away. Well, I hope so, anyway.”

We sure hope so, too!

Fans are already freaking out about his announcement as the final member of the house, and we can’t agree more that he’s already a fan-favorite slated to win.
