In Jill Soloway's new show I Love Dick, Kevin Bacon stars as the title character of masculine, distant, impenetrable Dick, the leader of an artists' community in Marfa, Texas. The show explores conventional notions of masculinity and femininity, and how binary definitions of gender are problematic and far from inclusive. OUT sat down with the dapper star to chat about societal notions of manhood and how that fits in to queerness.
