Hello, Out readers.

Unfortunately, we're starting Pride month with a bit of sad news, as gay Australian adult film star Koby Falks has passed away at the age of 42.

Falks, whose legal name is Anthony Cox, was born in Cloncurry, Queensland, Australia, on September 7, 1982, and starred in 76 adult films, many with his real-life partner Sam Bromwell.

"It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Koby Falks, a cherished talent and dear friend. Koby's creativity, passion, and professionalism left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to work with him," his page on Melbourne-based PR firm Mista PR reads.

"We honor his memory and the incredible contributions he made to the industry and to our team. Our thoughts remain with his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time."

Falks' death follows that of another gay adult film star, Colton Ford, who passed away at the age of 62 in May.

Ford worked in adult films for 22 years and won the GayVN Award for Gay Performer of the Year in 2003.

"He was a brilliant artist who always kept a song in his heart. Sweet, funny, kind, sassy - and hopelessly handsome. My heart is broken - it's almost too much to take," Ford's friend and industry peer Tim Wood wrote. "One of my best friends, a man who helped save my life many years ago. I miss you terribly… I can't stop the flood of tears. Sing with the angels, my beautiful, special soul. I love you."

Just a few months earlier, two other gay adult film stars, Roman Mercury and Tim Kruger, also passed away.

Kruger passed away at the age of 44.

"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share the news of the passing of our beloved Marcel, the man you all knew and loved as Tim Kruger," his website TimTales.com shared in a blog. "To the public, he was the ultimate ginger porn star; to me, he was a sweet, caring partner of over 20 years. He was also my best friend. He touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him."

Mercury was 45, and while he passed away in February, news of his death wasn't confirmed until March.

"With profound sadness, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of @romanmercury_," Mercury's close friend Greg Dixxon wrote. "Roman left us unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of passion, talent, and kindness that touched the lives of so many around the world."

Thank you for reading, and have a great Pride.
