9 Steps to Help You Find a Sugar Daddy (For Real)
1. Ask yourself, “Are you actually ready to have a sugar daddy?”
Everyone wants a sugar daddy until the daddy wants some sugar (know what I'm saying?). If you're going to pursue this, you better be aware of what you're getting yourself into.
2. What are your hard limits?
Or perhaps a better way to phrase this is what exactly are you looking for in a sugar daddy? What do you feel comfortable doing? Is anal sex too much? Go into the sugar agreement making things like that abundantly clear.
3. Change your setting on Tinder/online dating apps
You're not going to find a sugar daddy if you limit your age settings to 30. This is common knowledge. Go ahead and change those preferences to over 40 and then see what comes up.
4. Join a specifically gay sugar daddy/baby site (like Gay Arrangements)
There's Seeking Arrangement, which is great, but there are sugar baby/daddy sites that are specific to gay men, like Gay Arrangements. That's where you can really find yourself a sugar daddy.
5. Practice your small talk
It's not all about the sex and intimacy. It's about having someone to talk to. If you don't feel comfortable making small talk, then you sure as hell won't make a good sugar baby.
6. Make sure you’re damn good at sex
Imagine you find the perfect sugar daddy, but then messed it all up cause you were a mediocre lay in bed. Practice those topping and bottoming skills. Need some advice? Look no further than here.
7. Go into the rich part of town and hop on Grindr
Sorry, honey. You're not going to find yourself a sugar daddy in Brooklyn. (Okay, maybe, you'll find one in Park Slope or Williamsburg.) You gotta head your ass to Chelsea and Tribeca to find yourself a sugar daddy there.
8. Go to the fancy bars in the nice part of town
Again, you want to put yourself in place where you can meet the daddies. Go to the fancy bar in Hell's Kitchen, not the dive bar in Bushwick. Ya know what I mean?
9. Be persistent
Never give up on your dreams...even if that dream is having a sugar daddy. It'll take time, but have faith. You will find one in the end.
