Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black Are Engaged

It's official: Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley are engaged. The 41-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter and 21-year-old Olympic diver have been a couple for a while now and made their first official appearance together on a red carpet together in May 2014. Rather than use Twitter or Instagram to tease their admirers (as they have been inclined to do), they went the old-fashioned (and more official route) and placed an announcement in British newspaper The Times.

"Having a hard time focusing on work today. Keep thinking back to our perfect Sunday in the park," Black tweeted on Monday, linking to this Instagram photo of the couple's feet at a picnic in the park.

Last year, the couple auctioned off a chance to go on a double date with them for charity. Four days ago, Daley posted this photo to his Instagram of themselves in front of the British Museum with the caption: "A day filled with History and Coffee."
