Welcome back Out readers!

Did you hear the great news? We're getting a Red, White & Royal Blue sequel! That's right, the boys are back as both stars Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez will be returning along with writer of the original book Casey McQuiston and the first film's director Matthew López!

We loved the first movie, calling it the eighth best queer movie of 2023! Now, we get even more!

What are your hopes for a sequel? Perhaps a royal gay wedding is happening? Maybe a third son of some country's head of state will appear and start a love triangle? Maybe the franchise switches genres and becomes a political thriller? The possibilities are gay and endless!

McQuistion and López are apparently currently writing the sequel together, so if either one of them sees this, feel free to use any of my ideas!

Now, onto the week's best pop culture news.

Fun Gay Things We Did

This week, Out helped break two queer news stories! Writer Taylor Henderson was in attendance at Jessie J's recent show at the Teragram Ballroom where she sang an unreleased song where she apologized to an ex-girlfriend for saying her bisexuality was a phase.

Also, our very own Raffy Ermac was at last night's Red, White, & Royal Blue event and helped to break the news of a new sequel!

Comment of the Week

After Oscar-nominee Lily Gladstone clarified that they are not two spirit, but do use nonbinary pronouns, @BreakingBraavos on Twitter came in with a great, but unfortunate point: "Cringing in advance at conservatives acting like this is a fad when natives have had non binary gender concepts for thousands of years."

Gayest Song of the Week

Orville Peck and Noah Cyrus have released their beautiful duet "How Far Will We Take It?" The song comes from Peck's new album of duets, Stampede: Vol 1.
