Is Channing Tatum to thank for the success of the new 'G.I. Joe' film? We look at his other hot (and hit) film roles from the A-List stud

People's Sexiest Man 2012 and former Out cover star, Channing Tatum, stars in the new film G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which opened this past weekend--ranking in over $51 million in domestic box office receipts (it's even bigger when you count in international ticket sales). Tatum's drawing power has certainly grown since his he starred in Coach Carter in 2005, and even within the past year--surpassing Magic Mike's weekend pull of just under $40 million and 21 Jump Street's $35 million. Talented, yes, but let's be honest: His talent as an actor is not the only reason we watch a Tatum film.

She's The Man (2006)
Who wouldn't want to be roommates with Channing Tatum? The lucky--and then sane--Amanda Bynes' cross dressing character Viola had the pleasure of waking up to soccer stud Duke (Tatum) each morning in modern twist on Twelfth Night.

Step Up (2006)
Actress Jenna Dewan must have been swayed by Tatum's good looks, charm, and dance moves when they met on the set of Step Up--later marrying one another in 2009.

Fighting (2009)
This action drama brings a great option to those who can't stomach Tatum's romance centered roles, but still want to see him shirtless. And in this case, sweaty and roughing it up with other shirtless men.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009)
Another testosterone-fulfilling flick with some more shirtless and weight-lifting Tatum.

Dear John (2010)
A Nicholas Sparks film would not be complete without a hot leading man. Tatum paired up with Amanda Seyfried for Dear John, which included some steamy North Carolina lovin'.

The Vow (2012)
Going through some of the Mean Girls, Tatum's next big romantic gig brought him and Rachel McAdams together for love making in The Vow. Here we got a nice view of Tatum's assets:
