The comedian will star as an unlikely lunch lady in new film, The Lunch Witch.
Kate McKinnon, the comedic genius we all know and love from SNL, has finally scored her very own film with a leading role.
The actress will be starring in the movie The Lunch Witch, a comedy based on the young adult novel by Deb Lucke.
McKinnon will play a witch, Grunhilda, who inherits her ancestors' recipes and cauldrons, but must work as a school lunch lady because no one believes in magic anymore.
"Grunhilda delights in scaring the kids until she meets a timid little girl named Madison with a big set of glasses who becomes an unlikely friend," Deadlinereports. "Madison needs help at school and at home, but helping people goes against everything Grunhilda's believes in as a witch."
