The first trailer for the frightening new action film American Assassin, starring Teen Wolf hunk Dylan O'Brien and Michael Keaton, is here. Directed by Michael Cuesta, the movie is based off the best-selling novel of the same name and looks to be really, really violent.
O'Brien plays a black ops recruit who loses his fiance in a terrorist attack and is then assigned to work with a top-secret CIA trainer (Keaton). The trailer features O'Brien doing a lot of punching, stabbing and firing guns--scary and definitely normalizing violence... but maybe a little fun, too?

Whatever the film's actual plot and cast may be, we're certain of a few things: the trailer perpetuates some toxic ideas about binary masculinity, it looks really intense and straight, and Dylan looks really good shirtless.
