Michael B. Jordan Stars in the HBO Adaptation of Fahrenheit 451
Jordan plays a book burner questioning his chain of command.
Michael B. Jordan is the star of HBO's upcoming new film adaptation of Fahrenheit 451, the groundbreaking dystopian novel by Ray Bradbury originally published in 1953.
Fahrenheit 451's film version is directed by Ramin Bahrani and sees Jordan as Guy Montag, a fireman in a futuristic world where "fireman" means "book-burner." Michael Shannon plays his angry mentor, Beatty. Montag becomes an outlaw when he decides to go against his command and try to preserve some of history rather than destroy it.
Other upcoming new HBO projects include a limited series adaptation of Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects, starring Amy Adams, Notes From the Field about the prison industrial complex, and the drama Succession.
