Like a chocolate-covered pretzel or Merlot at breakfast, Carly Rae Jepsen and Dev Hynes are two things that--at first--wouldn't seem to go well together: She's a record exec's bubblegum pop dreamgirl, and he's an international indie darling. So, even though we love them both, how could a collaboration work?
Pretty damn well it turns out. The "Call Me Maybe" singer debuted her latest single, "All That," with Hynes on SNL this past weekend -- and we've been humming the tune ever since.
Synthy, sweet, and oh so poptastic, the ballad has a mid-'90s Christina/Britney vibe to it, which we're all about. We've got the pair's SNL performance above and the audio below.
