Behind the kicky dance beat lie some dark lyrics.
If you haven't heard of Young Fathers, get with it. The Edinburgh-based hip-hop trio took home the Mercury Prize last year for their debut LP, Dead.
Blending pop, hip-hop, dance, and a whole host of other genres together, Young Fathers's distinctive sound is a refreshing change of pace for Top 40 radio.
The first single off their latest album, White Men Are Black Men Too, is titled "Shame" and it camouflages some sinister lyrics beneath a sunny, up-tempo beat. All this culminates in a dance-along tune that's got a punch as well.
