She's blonde, she's British, and she just released an amazing remix of her pop song "Alarm."
In a collaboration with John Hill and Stint, Anne-Marie took "Alarm" to new heights. The remix is slightly more melodic than the original and will be the first track of a new album, Alarm Remixes Vol. II, which drops October 28.
"Alarm" is not Anne-Marie's first single, nor will it be her last, or so she hopes. The pop singer boasts a colorful discography, which includes collaborations with the drum and bass band Rudimentals and singer-songwriter Will Heard. Anne-Marie's music, however, is entirely her own. "It was always going to be the case that my sound would be different. They are going to be producing some songs on my album, but it will be in my style," she said in a statement.
Anne-Marie's writing has a dual nature to it. "I either write a song that's open and you can interpret in any way you want," she explained, "or it's a song exactly about how you have felt before. I don't mind being blunt when it's a common feeling."
Whether you're emoting over "Karate" or dancing around and spilling your drink to "Alarm," Anne-Marie's music is a must-listen. Check out the new "Alarm" remix below.
