Taylor Swift and ZAYN Drop New Fifty Shades Darker Track
Did they use the jam sesh to bitch about Harry Styles? Probably.
T-Swift and ZAYN recorded a track for the new Fifty Shades Darker movie coming out next year called "I Don't Wanna Live Forever." The song, which is available now on iTunes, pairs Swift's breathy vocals with ZAYN's soulful descant and a simple but sensuous beat that is so appropriate for the film it was written for.
Though Swift intended for the drop to be a surprise, fans have been anticipating something new from her since October. The New York Timesreported that she has released new music in the fall every two years since her debut in 2006. This year, Swifties will have to make do with just one single.
So how does the track fare? Swift's contribution seems a little out of place in light of her squeaky-clean brand. But if the pop singer is trying to sexify herself, sizzling ZAYNE is the person to do it with. Overall, the song proves to be nothing spectacular, but hey, it'll offer adequate ambiance for the real hunk on screen: Jamie Dornan.
Check out the 30-second clip that Swift posted on Twitter below, or take the plunge and buy the whole track on iTunes. Fifty Shades Darker comes out in theatres on Valentine's Day 2017.
