Exclusive: Queer Singer Russell Elliot’s Acoustic Cover of ‘Bang Bang’

Russell Elliot, whose debut music video we premiered back in the fall, has teamed up with Sofar Sounds, a secret performance series, for a modern rendition of Nancy Sinatra's timeless hit, "Bang Bang."

"I really enjoyed the opportunity to put a queer twist on this savage, broody classic," Elliot told us.

While the cover certainly pays homage to Sinatra's sultry vocals, Elliot adds his own twist to the number, complete with subtle runs, inventive phrasing, and a fun rap sequence.
