Girl Meets Girl in Mary Lambert’s 'Hang Out With You'

Don't call up Mary Lambert for a movie, or a shopping trip, or a quick hang--she's too busy living her best life with man's (or in this case, woman's) best friend.

The out singer released July 8 a new poppy ballad, "Hang Out With You," where she spends most of the song playing with her dog around town. Until, in typical meet-cute fashion, her pooch runs off the beach and introduces her to a nearby punk girl. Sparks fly immediately.

Looks like puppy is going to have to get used to sleeping at the end of the bed.

The song is Lambert's latest work since her single Secrets from album Heart on my Sleeve and her collaboration with Macklemore, Same Love, which catapulted her music career.
