Glory unto thee August 26, but pre-order begins tonight at midnight.Â
It's a new Britney era, bitch. And it's about time.
Pop icon, mom, and Instagram all-star Britney Spears has announced the title and release date of her first album since 2013's Britney Jean. Glory will be Brit's ninth studio album and according to La Spears, it's the beginning of a new era.
Not much is known about Glory, though snippets so far have not disappointed. The midtempo bop of "Make Me" appeased fans and critics alike, while fans get the bodysuit-approved "Private Show," first heard in the commercial for her perfume of the same name, with Glory's pre-order.
Britney's been very deliberate with recording Glory, taking her goddamn sweet time because she's Britney Spears and it's her prerogative--though she promises this album is "the best thing I've done in a long time."
Well, whatever it takes to erase the memory of "Pretty Girls."
Glory is available on Apple Music starting on August 26, but is ready for pre-order Wednesday at midnight.
