Lily Allen is 'So Tired of America' in Her Somber Rufus Wainwright Cover
We're only a few days into Donald Trump's official presidency and Lily Allen has already clapped back against America's foul politics. The "Fuck You" singer is sick of America, so why not cover Rufus Wainwright's "Going to a Town," which repeats throughout the song the phrase, "I'm so tired of America."
Allen covered the song as part of her playlist, "He's Got the Whole World in his Tiny Hands," which she curated for Spotify and Apple Music. The cover was produced by longtime collaborator Mark Ronson, who created a more somber lush sound that perfectly echoes this dark American era.

The Wainwright cover comes with an accopanying black-and-white video, which features various clips from this weekends Women's March--a protest that spread throughout the 50 states and globally, including London, where Allen attended the protest. Watch, below.
