Holy S*** Nicki Minaj Just Released a New Song With Diplo

We finally have new music from the Queen of Hip-Hop. Nicki Minaj, Partynextdoor and Major Lazer released today a banger, providing one of the few remaining beacons of hope in these dark, dark times. The new single, "Run Up," has been teased for weeks, and certainly lives up to the hype, delivering warm beachy vibes with help from Major Lazer's signature dancehall production.

"It's always important for us to work with people who are on the same wave," Diplo said of the track. "Nicki and Party really helped us bring the classic Major Lazer style to create this perfect party record."

"Run Up" is likely to be included on Major Lazer's forthcoming fourth studio album, Music is the Weapon. To Zane Lowe on Beats 1 last summer, Diplo said of the album: "Definitely we have Usher on it. MO's back on songs. We have a song with Sam Hunt which is very unusual, but I love him. Travis Scott. I don't even know; I have to go back...Sia is on a couple ideas, but one of the records might be her record. She's definitely background vocals on a song."
