Consider your sex life saved: SOPHIE's new single and accompanying video "Ponyboy" are the stuff of gritty electronica kink legend.
The video is starkly different from SOPHIE's other recent release, "It's Okay to Cry," a soft, single-shot clip that focused exclusively on her face as she whispered the lyrics of her first song as a solo artist.
"Ponyboy," in contrast, nearly drowns out every word in fantastic, overwhelmingly animalistic synthesizers. The song's lyrics are gloriously dirty, kinky and playful. "Ponyboy" sees SOPHIE on a stage, playing with a whip, applying lipstick, and engaging in some gymnastic, menage a trois choreo with two backup dancers, who happen to be acclaimed performance duo FlucT.
