Alt-Pop Star Allie X Announces New Album COLLXTION II

After teasing some big news earlier this week, rising pop star Allie X announced today her full-length album COLLXTION II, which is available for pre-order ahead of its official June 9 release. "I have put my tears, guts and memories into this body of work," the Canadian artist said of the new LP, which will include previously released songs, "Old Habits Die Hard" and "That's So Us" in its 10-song tracklist.

Once you've pre-ordered the album, you'll instantly receive "Casanova," which Allie X previously released as a stripped-down demo for her Unsolved project that allowed fans to provide input on working songs. "You might be familiar with the piano demo of this one," she said. "Now it's fully produced and an Xclusive gift to you."

Other songs on COLLXTION II include "Paper Heart," which you can hear a preview of by calling the CLXII Hotline (1-800-CLX2-M0B) and "Vintage," which Allie X allegedly worked on with longtime collaborator Troye Sivan.

This will be the alt-pop star's second studio release, following COLLXTION I in 2015. With earworms like "Prime" and "Catch" under her belt, as well as songwriting credits on Sivan's Blue Neighbourhood breakout "Youth,"Allie X is one of the most important artists to watch in 2017.
