The Brit's free mixtape, Number 1 Angel, is out Friday, March 10.
Charli XCX has been teasing her new mixtape since January, ensuring fans the material would be released in full by the end of February. Despite a minor delay, the British singer announced today her new 10-track project will finally drop on Friday, March 10. Called Number 1 Angel, Charli's free release follows last year's Vroom Vroom EP, made in collaboration with producer SOPHIE (Madonna, Le1f, LIZ).

"I'm so fucking happy this mixtape is nearly out," Charli said on Instagram, sharing her stylized cover art, which features the Brit in head-to-toe red. "I'm so proud of this collection of songs. Angels, this is for you. I love you all. Thank you for your eternal support. Angel power."
The artist also appeared today on Mistajam's BBC Radio 1 show to talk about Number 1 Angel and share three new songs. The first, "3 AM (Pull Up)," is a sugary summer single featuring MO; the second, "Dreamer," is a more experimental, blown-out track with cameos from Starrah and RAYE; "Lipgloss" is the most unapolgetic of the three, with brash verses from Chicago-based rapper CupcakKe.

Keeping in the vein of her Vroom Vroom EP, Charli said PC Music founder A.G. Cook served as her "wingman" while creating Number 1 Angel. SOPHIE will make a return on the mixtape, as well as Danny L. Harle, whose Carly Rae Jepsen collaboration, "Super Natural," is a sensational, slept-on single. With its polished, shimmering synths, Charli's forthcoming material offers a more slick take on pop than her bratty '90s-imbued sophomore album, Sucker.
