Beth Ditto Serenades Dive Bar Fight in 'Fire' Video

If anyone can turn a dive bar crowd into a brawling, line-dancing mess, it's Beth Ditto. And that's exactly what she does in the video for her latest solo single, "Fire."

Embracing her southern roots, Ditto croons on stage as a bar fight rewinds and replays around her, peppered with some impressive dancing from patrons and glimpses of a rather diverse crowd. "Fire" is the first single from the Gossip singer's forthcoming debut full-length album, Fake Sugar.

"I was running away from the bad parts of Southern culture," Ditto told Dazed when her album was announced. "I'm old enough now and so grateful for my family that I can finally embrace the good in where I grew up." Fake Sugar releases June 16.
